WHAT ARE THE DANGERS OF THE INTERNET?

1. Recieving innaopropriate pictures-  when you recieve images of someone or something that is very innapropriate.

2. Cyberbullying- when someone says something on any type of media that is very hurtful. 20% of teens say that their peers are unkind to each other on social networks.

3. Predators- those seeking to ensnare children. 76% of predators are adults over the age of 26. Predators may talk to a child for many months, years even, they manipulate the child through being sympathetic or flattery.

4. Gaming- games which children speak to strangers, strangers who could be at the age of over 20. Some games, which could be played on the internet are: moviestarplanet, stardoll, club penguin etc.

5. Youtube- this site is used by millions and over 3 billion videos are viewed every day. Youtube is a very dangerous website as well as being helpful this is because anything can be uploaded onto youtube.
